Obama gives the go-ahead for strike on Syria

Britain Says No, Obama Says Go Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad ordered an attack using chemical weapons against his own citizens last week that killed a few hundred protesters. The US and Obama have not yet decided if a strike on Syria will shortly follow. Great Britain has considered its options, and despite current PM David Cameron supporting the idea of a strike on Syria, the US's ally across the pond have abandoned the idea of bombing Syria. The decision has yet to be made whether or not the US will strike, but it seems most likely that the attack will occur. This article I found was extremely relevant to what we talked about in class today. George Washington's Farewell Address preached neutrality abroad, yet it seems clear that his mindset is a thing of the past. I am extremely interested to see how this unfolds.
